Welcome and thank you for taking the time to land and explore.

My name is Grace and I live on Sydney’s Northern Beaches in Australia. I am an Artist, Designer, Maker, Photographer, Writer, Street Artist, Student of Interior Design at Billy Blue School Of Design, and all around creative-obsessive. Im also a little bit of a misfit. I like to push the boundaries of creativity as well as my own inner boundaries when it comes to expressing it.

I like drought-dry, self depreciating humour, other weird naughty creative people, using my hands, creating three dimensional forms which inform space and meditating on the possibilities of harnessing light and shadow. Inspiration comes in all forms.

M O K H I N I S O is my dream to create Objects, Lighting, Artwork and Furniture - All the sparkling ideas I have in my head for beautiful design - with my hands. Pieces which inform space, throw shadow, and are god-damn ridiculously beautiful.

However I am not just a brand I am a person too. I want to share the aspects of my humanity which inspire me and inform my creative path. I want you to see the way I see the world because, hey why not? My lenses are pretty cool you should try them on sometime.

Basically it all comes down to this: I want to make. I want to write about making. I want to photograph, talk to and share other creatives journeys to better understand how to navigate my own, and I want to share that with you. I want to create bone-chillingly, goosebump-inducingly beautiful design. I want to wake up every single day, go to my studio, (which I don’t have yet) And make all day. Then get up and do it again the next day and the next forever. I want to move to New Zealand, forest bathe everyday, build my dream home and studio in green space and knuckle down in nature where my heart, my heart, really is.

Finally, most importantly I want to connect. I want to connect authentically with you. I want my work to touch your heart, break through your barriers and give you the courage to listen to your own calling.

So, for now thats it! I feel like i’m asking a lot from the universe but i’ve only got one life so i’m going to try for it anyway. I hope you can be part of my journey.
